Talk:People associated with Anne Frank

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Anne Frank was extremely popular with her peers and extended family. She lived in the "Secret Annexe" for over two years with seven other people, all of whom were cared for by four of Otto Frank's employees. She was generally remembered well by those who knew her in Westerbork Transit Camp, Auschwitz, and Bergen-Belsen. However, Jacqueline van Maarsen pointed out in her book "Anne and Jopie - My Friend Anne Frank" that after the diary became famous, many people claimed to have known her who had never even met her. This article deals with those who actually did know her well, or in whose lives Anne and her family figured strongly.
