Peoples Democratic Party (India)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), is a broad Muslim-Dalit-backward alliance based in Kerala, India. PDP was formed by Abdul Nasser Madani, the leader of now defunct Islamic Sevak Sangh (ISS), following Sangh Parivar's assent to power and its direct consequences: the 1991 Babri Masjid demolition, widespread economic liberalization and violent inter-caste conflicts.
