Miley uses a boy named Willis (Drew Osborne) to make Jake jealous after learning of his friend Holly, who she mistakes as his new girlfriend. All does not work out as she has planned--she soon finds out that Willis is actually a childish boy who is only 11 ("and three quarters!") instead of the high school senior he claimed he was. In the end, Jake tells Miley that he and Holly are only together for publicity. After some arguing involving who likes who, Jake spontaneously grabs Miley and kisses her. Lilly Truscott, who was eating popcorn while watching them as if they were an exciting movie, actually drops the popcorn and flips over her chair in surprise. Miley and Jake decide to become a couple and Jake asks Miley if she is available Saturday four months from now for a date. Jake has to fly off to Romania for four months because he is going to shoot a movie that Frankie Muniz dropped out of. Miley gets angry at Jake that he is leaving her right after he kissed her. She then tells Jake that she's about to give him a little extra something to remember by when he's gone, and, leaning in as if about to kiss him, comically pushes him off the railing they were sitting on.

Miley: Oh yeah! I saw you in that commercial. You know, where you had to have that really uncomfortable talk with your mom...I hope everything worked out!
Holly: (In a very snobby voice) That wasn't really my mother? Okay?
Miley: Well, as long as the toe fungus is gone. - Jake: Holly? She's not my girlfriend! We have a movie coming up so we've been hanging out together, as a publicity thing.
Miley: Why didn't you tell me that before?
Jake: Well, um, I...
Miley: Wait a minute! I know why, you were trying to make me jealous...
Jake: What? No!
Miley: Admit it Jake! You like me!
Jake: No! You like me! Just say it!
Miley: No you say it!
Jake: No you!
Miley: No you!
Jake: (Holds Miley and kisses her)
(Lily gets shocked and falls off chair) - Oliver How old are you?
Willis: 11 - and 3 quarters!
Miley:What you talkin' about, Willis? - Miley: ( talking to Willis) How can you be 11?
Lilly: And 3 quarters.
Miley:Not helping. - Lilly: (in a soft voice) Willis, can I borrow you for a second? (blows nose loudly) Bye Willis....
Miley: I already admitted I was wrong. You don't have to blow my nose in it. - Miley Stewart How can you be eleven?
Oliver Oken Look on the bright side, you can babysit him for extra money! - Jake: Whos your...friend?
Miley:Oh thats Willis! He comes from Ciaro, you know , the coffee capitol of America?He drinks it BLACK

- At the Teen Scene Awards, Hannah says "And the pillow's on a hot date with a bunkbed, hold for LAUGHTER." But backstage, when she is complaining to Jake how horrible she was, she quotes the same mistake as "hold for APPLAUSE".
- The episode was available for viewing on DisneyChannel.com on October 31, 2006 - 3 days before its television airing.
- The exterior of the bowling alley is the same one as in the episode "Bowling" from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody.
- The front of the bowling alley says "Parkway Lanes", but later as they move on inside, the interior says "Malibu Lanes."
- This episode marks another of Lilly's disguises alongside Miley's disguise as Hannah Montana. It looks exactly like her Lola Luffnagle disguise except that it has light blue hair and a red headband. Lilly keeps using different colored wigs for Lola (red, lavender, light blue, and coming soon, orange).
- In all four episodes Jake Ryan appeared in, he has said "I'm filming for an upcoming movie."
