The People's Alliance Party is a political party in the Solomon Islands. At the legislative elections on 5 December 2001, the party won 20 out of 50 seats. Subsequently its leader, Allan Kemakeza, became prime minister. The party was defeated in the last legislative elections, on April 5, 2006, winning only 9 seats (including 6 as independents), and Prime Minister Kemakeza resigned.
