Pensacola Museum of Art

The Pensacola Museum of Art is the only art museum in the city of Pensacola, Florida. It was founded in 1954 by a group of women from the American Association of University Women.

The majority of funding for the Pensacola Museum of Art is received from the State of Florida, Department of State, the Division of Cultural Affairs, through the Florida Arts Council, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Institute of Museum and Library Services. [1] Additional funding for the PMA is provided by the Escambia County Tourist Development Council and benefactors of the United Arts Fund of the Arts Council of Northwest Florida.
