Pennywort

Pennywort is a name given to several completely different plants around the world. In general they all have round leaves and a low-growing habit. It may refer to:
- Umbilicus rupestris, a succulent, perennial flowering plant in the stonecrop family Crassulaceae, in the genus Umbilicus.
- Cotyledon umbilicus, also called kidneywort and navelwort.
- Obolaria virginica, also known as Virginian Pennywort.
- Centella asiatica, also known as Gotu Kola or Asiatic Pennywort.
- Hydrocotyle umbellata, or Marsh Pennywort or Water Pennywort. A perennial aquatic weed that spreads out horizontally forming dense mats in shallow water, mud, or in marshes.
There are likely to be several other uses of this botanical names besides those listed here.
