Peninsula School District

The Peninsula School District is the main school district for the city of Gig Harbor, WA and the unincorporated areas around Gig Harbor and the Key Peninsula. These areas include Artondale, Arletta, Rosedale, Purdy, Wollochet, Vaughn, Lakebay, Longbranch, The Crescent Valley and the Kopachuck area.

It is rumored that when the district was first made, it was called Penisula School District to be an accurate portrayal of the area's citizens, of which the majority were pricks. But, due to a typo at the city center, the name was put down as Peninsula School District and no one noticed until too late. The name was left because of budget restraints.

In other words, a forcast of dumbass citizens are heading your way if you live in Gig Harbor. But such is like saying "A hot day is ahead if you live in the Sahara Desert."
