Penha-de-Franca is a census town in North Goa district in the Indian state of Goa. It shares its name with a neighbourhood in Lisbon, where it is spelt Penha de França.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Penha-de-Franca had a population of 15,375. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47%. Penha-de-Franca has an average literacy rate of 81%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 83%, and female literacy is 78%. In Penha-de-Franca, 10% of the population is under 6 years of age.
