Penelope Blackmore

Penelope "Penny" Blackmore (born April 23, 1984 in Melbourne, Australia) is an Individual Rhythmic Gymnast. She started rhythmic gymnastics in 1995 after it was suggested to her by an Australian national judge and coach. Penny is currently a student at Sydney University.
In 2003 she was the Australian National All-Around Champion (2nd Hoop, 2nd Clubs, 3rd Ribbon), and again in 2004 (2nd Hoop, 1st Ball, 2nd Clubs, 1st Ribbon). In 2004 she made her Olympic debut in Athens, she did not make the finals, her Qualification Round results are Ball 19.325, Hoop 19.575, Clubs 19.600, Ribbon 14.550.
Penny announced her retirement from the sport in December 2004. [1]
