Pearl of Great Price (1991) |
Word Flesh Stone (1992) |
Pearl of Great Price is the debut album of industrial music band Will which was released in 1991.
The album's ambience is reminiscent of a medieval torture chamber, with clanking chains and shouted, echoing vocals. The instrumentation evokes an orchestra, with strings and horns and occasional organ passages, with a marching, almost oppressive drum beat permeating the entire composition. A few of the tracks feature baroque-styled vocal choruses.
