Peak Experience Productions

Peak Experience Productions is an organization, currently headquartered in Portland, Oregon, which provides immersive audience participation activities at music festivals.
Taking inspiration from Bill Graham and the long history of audience involvement in Grateful Dead concerts, Peak Experience seeks to provide an opportunity for all audience members to participate in presenting shows.
A concert produced in association with Peak Experience Productions will often include hundreds of audience members in putting on a dramatic presentations which often evoke the themes of earth, water, fire and air, and manifest humanity's response to these forces. Mythical themes of human struggle against forces of greed and evil are oftentimes played out, with a narrator accompanying the play. During these presentations, the band becomes the musical component of the drama, playing a highly improvisational score which weaves itself into the story.
At multiday festivals, Peak Experience Productions will organize workshops on progressive social issues, music, dance and crafts.

"We believe that each and every one of our event attendees deserves safe, respectful community celebrations that offer nothing less than genuinely profound inspiration and deep, healing joy. Through our audience-participatory activities we strive to help our event attendees be "the Hero in the movies of their lives." Our overall goal is to offer a sense of intelligent, spirited, highly creative adventure".
