Peace River (provincial electoral district)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Peace River is a provincial electoral district for the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, Canada.
The riding of Peace River is one of five ridings out of the original twenty five, that has existed since Alberta became a province in 1905. The other four surviving ridings are Medicine Hat, Strathcona, St. Albert and Stony Plain.
The riding occupies the extreme northwest corner of the province. During its 100 years the riding has only elected opposition members twice, this riding is one of the safest seats in the province for governments of the day, but will turn on a dime during government changes.

Fort McMurray-Wood Buffalo borders to the east. Lesser Slave Lake borders to the south. Dunvegan-Central Peace borders to the south and west. Peace River Northin British Columbia border to the west.
