P C Kerry young was a fictional PC in the itv drama "The Bill." Young was played by Beth Cordingly. Her character first appeared after the Sun Hill fire. Young was a strong-minded, attractive officer who caught the eye of the male officers. Eventually, Young married PC Luke Ashton. The marriage, however, did not last long as Young realized that Luke was gay. In Young's final episode, she died as a victim of the Sun Hill sniper.
