Description |
Flag of the Pawnee tribe. The eight arrowheads represent the eight wars in which the Pawnee tribe has fought in the service of the United States: the Indian Wars, the Spanish-American War, both World Wars, the Korean War, the Vietnam War, the Gulf War and the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Earlier versions of the flag had less arrowheads.
