I was born 11/25/67 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
I lived in Taipei, Taiwan from the age of 8 months to about four years, but I lived the rest of my childhood in North Syracuse, NY where I attended the Liverpool Central School system.
I graduated the State University of New York at Oswego in 1989 with a BA in Writing. I also took extensive Philosphy courses. Summers I worked as a museum employee for the Onondaga County Department of Parks and Recreation's Ste. Marie De Gannentaha Living History Museum. I was an apprentice to the blacksmith there, among other things.
After College I was hired by IBM where I have worked ever since. I work for a division of the Software Group that produces an OS called TPF or Transaction Processing Facility.
I am currently divorced, living with my girlfriend and her daughter. Jennifer is my long lost love from High School. Her daughter's name is Cara, and she is 16 years old now. I have one son from my former wife, his name is Finnegan. He was born 1/10/02.
My interests include history, linguistics, blacksmithing, poetry, writing, and music (drumming, specifically).
I'm currently pursuing a MS in Computer Science at Marist College.

Hi, thanks for the references to Turco's memoirs ... I've moved them into footnotes. I don't suppose you know page numbers we could cite? I think TheRingess was justified in tagging the article with 'weasel' but I think it is starting to look more objective. — Stumps 16:17, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for your quick reponse. I'd like to do a bit more on the Turco article. It's looking good, but I think we can make it a really good article. I'd also appreciate any help you could give on the New Formalism article ... there are some users who keep blanking out most of the content I'm working on, and I'm worried that I may be inadvertently only putting forward one side of some mysterious battle. Anyhow, if you know ANYTHING about the history of New Formalism that you think should be on the page, please do add it.
- By the way, you did almost everything right in terms of communicating in Wikipedia ... just three small things:
- Remeber to be logged in, otherwise it just looks like some anonymous IP has left a message
- Remember to sign your name on talk pages by putting four tildes (~~~~) at the end, this will add your name and the current date at the end of your post
- You edited my User page, rather than by User Talk page ... next tab across the top.
- Let me know if I haven't made myself clear and I'll be happy to try explaining again. — Stumps 19:32, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
