[edit] Geronimo(Astroboy 1980)

I don't mind at all thank you =) Although I actually picked the wrong picture ^^; I meant to put in a one that actually shows him, not just a screen he operates ^^;

Is there a way I can change a picture in a Wikipedia article in case it becomes broken or if I find something better?

Thanks =) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hanako84 (talkcontribs) 19:01, 19 August 2006.

[edit] Bridge contribution you labled spam

Not really, I reviewed the film (National Association of Manufactures) - it is a grade-school level educational film. The anon contributor misplaced this, it belongs in external links - where I have placed it. Please do not be to hasty, many anon contributions are valid. Best wishes, Leonard G. 02:23, 23 August 2006 (UTC)

P.S. I did further checking of the site (I used the "www.shopfloor.org" link, redirecting to http://blog.nam.org/) and found out that the content is blatently politically biased, being anti-organized labor and anti-Democratic Party, and anti-global warming theory too (ohboy, my dad was right about NAM - 55 years ago and they haven't changed since). Rather than delete the link (which is interestingly useful at a certain level, even including a black female engineer), I added a warning:
  • Video on how bridges are made (Grade school level educational film by National Association of Manufactures.) Caution: Other links on this page may lead to politically biased material.
So keep your eye out for IP deletions of the warning - we will know where it comes from. - Leonard G. 00:48, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External links in the railfan article

I have attempted to remove this link from the railfan article due to it being a discussion forum which is by no means unique, and also requires paid membership for full access. Where is the prompt action in keeping this link off the article?

Is there not some type of warning that can be posted to the article Talk Page?-- MakeChooChooGoNow 17:36, 6 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Victim photo on 9/11 article

[edit] Image:S Jayakumar.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:S Jayakumar.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Chowbok 16:36, 8 November 2006 (UTC)
