Paul "Bear" Bryant Award

The Paul 'Bear' Bryant Award has been given out annually since 1957 to NCAA college football's coach of the year. It is voted on by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association, and proceeds from the event benefit the American Heart Association. The award is named after longtime Alabama coach Paul "Bear" Bryant.
