Paul Williams is a fictional character on US soap opera The Young and the Restless, portrayed by actor Doug Davidson since 1978.

When a teenaged Paul Williams was introduced onto the Genoa City canvas, he was having a fling with Nikki Reed (then played by Erica Hope), and being very promiscuous, even gave Nikki an STD or STI. Despite this, Paul and Nikki (now Melody Thomas Scott), who is now Genoa City's most prominent socialite, have managed to remain close over the years.
Determined to help his son mature, Paul's father, Carl (Brett Hadley), got him into the police force. This led to Paul eventually becoming Genoa City's most respected private investigator. He has been married to April Stevens (Janet Wood, then Cynthia Eilbacher) (with whom he has a daughter, Heather), Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) and Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell). He was briefly married to Isabella Brana Williams (Eva Longoria), with whom he has a son, Ricardo. Isabella is now in a mental institution after trying to kill Christine.
