Paul Thangiah

Rev. Paul Thangiah is the senior pastor and president of Full Gospel Assemblies of God, Bangalore, India. He was also the chairman and coordinator for Benny Hinn's crusade in Bangalore. The church is at Indiranagar, Bangalore, India. Today, FGAG has more than 10,000 members attending the church on any weekend. After finishing graduate studies in theology, he started his church with only three people: His wife and his two beloved children. Rev. Paul Thangiah not only attends to the spiritual needs of the people who come to his church but also to society at large. He had struggled in the initial years with no one coming forward to help him. Today he feels that no other people should suffer. It is said that Rev. Paul landed in India from Srilanka with only 1 rupee, which in India currency is very low. Rev. Paul continues to conduct leadership seminars all over India. He also travels around the world to host seminar meetings and conferences. Rev. Paul Thangiah also comes in different rural channels and also in The God Channel, Miracle Net. The church is planning to move to large site. Rev. Paul Thangiah, a noted song writer, has composed many songs.

Pastor Paul is also the founder of the Grace children's home, an orphanage that is situated in the outskirts of Bangalore East. It was inaugurated on September 18, 2006 with many chief guests and the Assemblies of God president. This project was started in the year 2004, February. It is also said that the church contributed an amount of RS 51 Lakh in one single day.
