Paul Sutherland

Paul Sutherland was born in Toronto, Canada December 7, 1930 and died in Toronto, Canada May 15, 2004 from a heart attack.
He was the creator of "Tales of the Riverbank". He produced all three versions of the series. The series ran in 1959, 1972, and from 1995 to 1998. The 1995 to 1998 series was produced in Toronto for YTV. The title "Once Upon a Hamster" was the newer version when it went colour in 1972 and the title was kept for the YTV version of the series that ran from 1995 to 1998. He was also a writer of a televison series called the "Scribe" produced in 1966.
He had five children. One of his sons helped with the 1995 to 1998 version of "Once Upon a Hamster".
