Paul Rideout

Paul Rideout (born 14 August 1964 in Bournemouth) was an English professional football player who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He is most notable for playing for Aston Villa, Everton and Tranmere Rovers.
He is famous for the following:
- Scoring 3 goals for England schoolboys in a match lost 4-5 to Scotland, at Wembley Stadium.
- 1995 - he scored the winning goal in the FA Cup Final at Wembley Stadium for Everton against Manchester United. Graham Stuart's shot rebounded off the bar and Rideout headed past United's goalkeeper Peter Schmeichel and captain Steve Bruce.
- 2001 - when playing for Tranmere Rovers, he scored three of four second half goals against former club Southampton in the FA Cup, after his team had been 3-0 down at half-time.
Rideout also played in Hong Kong as well as for the Kansas City Wizards in Major League Soccer.
