Paul R. Nelson

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Paul Raymond Nelson (born March 9, 1966 in St. Paul, MN) is a resident of Woodville, Wisconsin, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, a real estate agent, a self-proclaimed Hockey Dad, and was the Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in Wisconsin's 3rd congressional district challenging incumbent Democrat Ron Kind in the 2006 mid-term election.

His negative campaign commercials against Ron Kind and his nasal voice made him a celebrity of sorts on the Opie and Anthony Show. He even called in on November 3, 2006 and was interviewed and challenged Ron Kind to have a debate on the show on Monday, November 6th - one day before the election. This was not possible, however, as Opie and Anthony were on vacation.
