[edit] Career
Trained by Alan Johnson & Johnny Moss at the EPW Training School in Sheffield, Parisio began his training in March 2001. His Debut followed in February 2002 at the first ever Elite Pro-Wrestling Event in Sheffield. His Talents made him a standout star from the beginning, both trainers and fellow colleagues alike earmarked Parisio for great things in Professional Wrestling. After serving his time for EPW, Parisio alongside Karl Harker flew out for a tour of Florida and as a team won the BANG! Funking Conservatory U.S. Tag-Team Championship in November 2002. Upon returning home, his performance was praised by W.O.W. Magazine who covered their trip and Title win. With Parisio's career gaining momentum, he eventually made his Debut for the FWA;Academy Brand in December 2002. His performances were recognised by the Portsmouth fans, but EPW held showdown talks with Parisio after the event. EPW, an affiliate of NWA UK Hammerlock, punished Parisio for appearing on a show promoted by the FWA. His punishment would be to serve a one show ban, and to verbally agree not to work for anyone besides EPW Again. Parisio rejected the compromise and defected to the newly formed UKWA.
In the UKWA he rejoined his Tag-Team Partner Karl Harker and along with Andi Rush formed the Wrestling stable The Brit Pack. Throughout 2003 The Brit Pack ruled the ring within the UKWA and eventually in July 2003 Parisio's rise to the top peaked. He fought a match in Sheffield, on on that night broke character, he announced before his match on the Microphone his intention to settle down and marry, at this point he proposed to his then Girlfriend [now Wife]. She accepted, and Parisio went on to win the match. It would be Parisio's final appearance for the UKWA.
[edit] Semi-Retirement
In December 2003 Paul Clarke married his long time Girlfriend in Leeds England, the date was attended by the majority of the UKWA Roster. This period saw what would many refer to as Parisio's "Semi-Retirement" phase. Not wrestling since his last performance for the UKWA in July 2003, Parisio accepted the offer of Karl Harker who had been approched by Scottish Championship Wrestling to continue their working relationship, something which Karl Harker & Parisio had done since their Debut for SCW in April 2003. He worked on and off as a Team with Karl Harker until their split in March 2004. His last ever Professional Wrestling show was for the Scottish Championship Wrestling Promotion in April 2004.
[edit] Retirement
Paul Parisio retired from Professional Wrestling in May 2004. He was approched in January 2005 by Andi Rush and asked if he would like to make a comeback and participate in the Brit Pack Reunion which both Andi Rush & Karl Harker had both agreed to do for WAW. Parisio declined stating his job as a Joiner came first these days and he couldn't afford time of work. Since then Parisio has been in contact with Andi Rush & Will Assault in regards to making a comeback, though at present he can't commit to a full return.
