Paul Norman

Paul Norman (October, 1951 - July 2, 2004) was chief scientist for chemical and biological defence at Porton Down and member of the Royal Society of Science. He was well considered to be a leader in his field and a pioneer against the use of biological and chemical weapons.
Norman died on the 2 July, 2004 after a charity parachute jump ended in disaster. Two others died on the scene of the accident, one other member of the party died later in hospital. He is survived by his wife and two children.
