Paul Nixon

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Paul Andrew Nixon born 21 October 1970, Carlisle, Cumberland, England is an English cricket player who has played for the cricket teams of Leicestershire, England A, Marylebone Cricket Club and Kent. He is a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper.

Nixon can count himself unlucky not to have played for England. He has been a very consistent cricketer during his career, scoring runs, being tidy behind the stumps and is a popular member of the county circuit. Nixon got close in 2000-01 as he toured Pakistan and Sri Lanka, he however couldn't find a way past Alec Stewart into the team.
