Paul Medhurst, born 11 December 1981 is an Australian rules footballer. Formerly a player for the Fremantle Football Club as a small forward, he was traded to the Collingwood Football Club for Chris Tarrant on October 13th, 2006. He was a 4th round selection in the 2001 AFL Draft after winning the Bernie Naylor Medal in 2001 for the most goals the WAFL where he played for the Claremont Football Club.

He made a successful debut in round 1, 2002 in a Western Derby against West Coast, kicking 3 goals and earning him an AFL Rising Star nomination. At the end of 2002 he won the Beacon Award as the best young player on the Fremantle team. He was Fremantle's leading goalkicker in 2003 and 2004, kicking 50 and 41 goals respectively, including hauls of 9 against Brisbane in 2004 and 7 against Carlton in 2003. His 154 goals (to the end of 2005) is currently third behind to Clive Waterhouse who holds the record of 178 goals for Fremantle, and Matthew Pavlich with 167. He is a very strong overhead mark for his size. He has currently played 67 consecutive matches since 2003.

Wearing guernsey number 34 from his debut in 2002 until 2005, for the 2006 season he has chosen to change to number 6, the number worn by his idol, ex-Fremantle and Adelaide champion goalkicker Tony Modra.

As of the 2006 trading period has now become a member of The Collingwood Magpies Football Club as part of a deal that saw pick 9 and Paul Medhurst head to Victoria in return for Chris Tarrant.
