Paul Le Claire

Deputy Paul Le Claire is a member of the States of Jersey.

First elected in a by-election as Deputy in St Helier District #1 in 1999, he won support during the elections later that year and was returned as a Senator. In 2005, he was a founder member of, firstly, the Jersey Democratic Alliance and then the Centre Party, but failed to gain re-election as a Senator; instead returning to St Helier District #1 to top the poll and return to the Deputy benches.
