Paul King (footballer)

Paul King is a footballer, currently playing for Derry City's under-21 team. He has on occasion been called up to play for the senior team, playing in numerous pre-season friendlies at the beginning of the 2006 campaign. Paul had previously played for Derry and District League team, Don Bosco's. Paul has also played in the Foyle Cup, finishing runners up in with the Derry and District League Select in 2005
Paul is also studying for his A-levels at St. Columb's College in the city at the moment. Recently, his mobile phone has been inundated with calls and bombarded with text messages from new Derry City boss Pat Fenlon, requesting 100% commitment from King and highlighting the necessity for arriving at training punctually. When questioned about the matter, King simply laughed it off, however it is believed that the relationship may be deeper than first thought, with King spotted texting Fenlon back and seen having lunch with him in Badger's eatery in the city.
