Paul Kangas

Paul Kangas a former stockbroker with more than 12 years experience[1], is the Miami-based Anchor and Financial Commentator host of Nightly Business Report since it was a local Florida program in 1979. The show is still hosted from Florida, where he resides with his wife, Peni. Although he hosts the show that gives premier financial advice, he owns no stock.[citation needed]
Kangas was born in Houghton, Michigan and is a graduate of the University of Michigan. He earned his brokers license after studying at the New York University Stern School of Business. [2]
He is an avid golfer and ham radio enthusiast.[3]
A popular segment on the show is "The Maket Monitor", where Paul gets some interesting tips from the investment community. Some well-known market monitor's have included Abbey Joseph Cohen, Elaine Garzarelli and the author of the Dines report.
Kangas ends every broadcast by saying, "Wishing all of you the best of good byes!"
