Paul Johnson (born Lawrence Paul Johnson, Topeka, Kansas, 1966) is a Chicago-based musician and songwriter. He is currently guitarist and vocalist with The Clerics. His previous projects have included Sheepish Grin, New Rob Robbies and Caboose.

The Clerics will release Magnae Quassationes, their first full-length cd, in October of 2007.

In 2003 he married Lisa McComb. They have a son, Andrew, who was born on September 26, 2005.
