Paul Herscu

Paul Herscu (born May 5, 1959 in Bucharest, Romania) is an American naturopathic doctor who is noted for his homeopathic work, including treatment of children, educational approaches and applications of classical homeopathy.
Herscu was born in Romania but moved with his family to Israel in 1961, where he lived until 1969 when his family moved to the United States. He earned his N.D. from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine and has continued learning and teaching homeopathy since then. In particular, he has based his work on the literature of Samuel Hahnemann, James Tyler Kent, Baron Clemens Maria Franz von Boenninghausen, Constantine Hering, and Adolf von Lippe.
Herscu is often credited with revitalizing the homeopathic approach to the treatment of children by making the treatment much more effective. He is also credited with promoting the approach of writing materia medica from the writer's own clinical experience.
Herscu has written several books, among them Homeopathic Treatment of Children: Pediatric Constitutional Types (ISBN 1-55643-090-6) and Stramonium: With an Introduction to Analysis Using Cycles & Segments (ISBN 0-9654004-0-9), had numerous articles published in all of the major homeopathic journals. He helped to revitalize and recreate the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians in the late 80's.
He innovated the practice of Case Conferences that became popular through the 80's and 90's. He was the founder in 1989 with his wife, Amy Rothenberg, of the New England School of Homeopathy. In 1991, he began publishing the New England Journal of Homeopathy. He teaches at a number of leading schools of homeopathy around the world.
Herscu maintains a private practice in Enfield, Connecticut.
