Paul Gallagher (born August 9, 1984 in Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish football player who currently plays for Blackburn Rovers as a forward.

Gallagher made his debut performance as a substitute in a 2-0 defeat of Arsenal on March 15, 2003, as a replacement for Dwight Yorke. His first goal was scored in a 4-0 win against Birmingham City in the 2003-04 season. He also made his international debut in February of that season, a 4-0 defeat for Scotland against Wales.

He spent almost all of the 2005-06 season on loan to Stoke City,but spent the majority of his stay playing on the left or right wing. He did manage a creditable 12 goals in 36 games though. His most memorable goal for Stoke City F.C. fans will certainly be his goal against Southampton on 15th April 2006 Paul Gallagher exchanged a one-two on the edge of the area with Adam Rooney before drilling home a thunderous thirty yard drive into the far top corner of the net.

He was recalled by Blackburn in April 2006 with three games remaining in the Premiership season, coming on as a late subtitute in the final game of the season, being involved in the creation of the final goal of the game.

Gallagher has featured in all of Blackburn's preseason friendlies so far. Mark Hughes seems keen to ease the talented player into a first team spot and has indicated the player will NOT be going out on loan this season.
