Paul Elliott Martin

Paul Elliott Martin (born 1897) was an American bishop of The Methodist Church, elected in 1944.

He was born 31 December 1897 in Blossom, Texas. He served as a 2nd Lieutenant of the American Infantry during World War I. He also served as Superintendent of Schools in his birthplace for three years. He joined the North Texas Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South in 1922. Prior to his election to the Episcopacy, he served as a pastor and district superintendent.
