Paul Burke (actor)

Paul Burke (born July 21, 1926) is an American actor mainly known for his lead roles in the television series Naked City and Twelve O'Clock High, in which he played Col. Joe Gallagher
Burke was born in New Orleans and was the son of actor Martin Burke. After his acclaimed performances in Naked City and Twelve O'Clock High, Burke appeared in The Thomas Crown Affair as well as numerous TV shows but had few movie roles.
Burke is the grandfather of actress Alia Shawkat.
