Paul Beaver

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Paul Beaver (1925-1975) was an obscure jazz musician and a pioneer in electronic music, particularly the Moog Synthesizer. He was the Moog vehicle of The Zodiac project.

In 1966 he joined fellow electronic artist Bernie Krause, forming Beaver & Krause. They were one of the first groups of the new Electronica genre, and their album The Nonesuch Guide to Electronic Music became a landmark work. Beaver & Krause continued until Beaver's death in 1975.
