[edit] Tone

This smells like it was lifted from a bio or book jacket. I couldn't find the combination of "telesco" and the (now-corrected) typo "contineus" anywhere but here, so it wasn't a direct copypaste, but the tone doesn't sound like it's exactly NPOV either. I'm sure this article can use some cleanup.
