Oh please; that is a pretty irrational viewpoint. *I* was probably the one who put that link/reference in the article as it is interesting and not insignificant that Dye coached under the most important coach of his biggest rival and against whom he later coached. It's the same reason you'd note that Mark Richt coached under Bobby Bowden or Petrino and Chizik under Tuberville. Those kinds of coaching connections are interesting and do matter.
