Patty Sheehan

Patty Sheehan (b October 27, 1956 Middlebury, Vermont) is an American professional golfer.
Sheehan attended the University of Nevada and San Jose State University and became a member of the LPGA Tour in 1980. She won thirty-five events on the tour, including six major championships. She finished in the top ten on the money list every year from 1982 to 1993, including five second place finishes. Sheehan become one of the first LPGA players to publicly announce that she was a lesbian. Sheehan and her partner Rebecca Gaston have two adopted children.
