Patriotic Alliance

Patriotic Alliance (Greek: Πατριωτική Συμμαχία, Patriotiki Symmachia, PATRI.S. ΠΑΤΡΙ.Σ. = fatherland) is a far-right Greek nationalist political party founded in 2004. It is a member party of the European National Front.
The leader of the party is Dimitrios Zaphiropoulos and the deputy is Elias Panagiotaros.
Patriotic Alliance received 10,618 votes (0.17% of votes cast) in the 2004 European Parliament elections. The party also participated in the 2006 Athens municipal elections on the "Athens Greek City" (Αθήνα Πόλις Ελληνική - Athina Polis Elliniki) slate, receiving 1.35% of votes cast.
The Youth Front of the party publishes a white nationalist magazine entitled Resistance Hellas-Antepithesi, which is a sister publication of the US-based National Alliance's Resistance Magazine.[1]
The party also publishes the newspaper Eleutheros Kosmos ("Free World" in English).
Many members of the party are former members of the neo-Nazi Hrisi Avgi party.[2]
