Patrick James "Paddy" Ryan (January 4, 1883 - February 13, 1964) was an American athlete who competed mainly in the throws.
He competed for the United States in the 1920 Summer Olympics held in Antwerp, Belgium in the hammer throw where he won the gold medal. He also competed in the 56lb weight throw where he won the silver medal, the onl time this event was held at Olympic level.
