Patrick Keeler

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Patrick Keeler is a drummer from Cincinnati, best known as the drummer of The Raconteurs a band formed with long-time friends Brendan Benson, Jack White of The White Stripes and "little" Jack Lawrence. The Raconteurs released their debut album, Broken Boy Soldiers, in April, 2006. Keeler is also the drummer for the garage rock band The Greenhornes, that also featured along with vocalist Craig Fox and Jack Lawrence. In 2004, Keeler played drums on the Loretta Lynn album Van Lear Rose in the band that album producer Jack White put together. White also played guitar on the album and sang a duet with Lynn on Portland, Oregon, a Grammy winning song. The band called themselves the do whatters, and also featured Jack Lawrence on bass and Dave Feeny on pedal steel guitar. Despite contaning three future Raconteurs, the do whatters share little in terms of musical styling.
