Patrick Harvey was born on 24th July, 1984 and is an Australian actor, born in Melbourne, Australia. He plays Irish immigrant "Connor O'Neill" on the television soap opera Neighbours. His first appearance on the soap was in April 2002. Harvey spent most of his childhood in Northern Ireland, caring for his sick grand-parents, although he moved back to Melbourne in the August of 1999.
Harvey unsuccessfully tried to land an acting career in Northern Ireland and it was only due to his parents' encouragement that he pursued it in Australia. He had a few guest appearances on the ABC show The Saddle Club and long-running TV series Blue Heelers, as well as doing a commercial for Australian fast-food chain Red Rooster.
It was announced that Harvey was to leave Neighbours after a four year run. He filmed his final scenes in February and they will be broadcast in Australia mid 2006.
The character of Connor met an apparent sticky end at the hands of Paul's son Robert (posing as twin Cameron). Connor knew too much information about Robert's deceptions so revenge was taken. It is not yet clear whether or not Connor has been killed off, though his final scene implied this as his body was presumed to be in the back of a covered trailer which Robert towed away using Connor's car.
