Patrick Bristow (born 26 September 1962) is an American actor. He is known for his bright red hair. He is best known for his role as Peter, the gay best-friend of Ellen Morgan in the television show Ellen. (His character existed before the main character of that show came out of the closet.)

He also has a role in The Suite Life of Zack & Cody as Patrick, the waiter, and appeared as a tour guide in Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. He played choreographer Marty in the notorious flop Showgirls. Other film credits include 2005's "The Longest Yard", "Twilight of the Golds", and the upcoming independent flick "Jimmy and Judy" and he had a role as Mr.Lutz in "Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century".

A veteran of numerous high-profile TV guest-star roles (Seinfeld's "The Wig Master", the machiavellian Troy on Mad About You), Bristow is an alumnus of the Los Angeles landmark comedy/improv troupe "The Groundlings." A Los Angeles native, Bristow is the third child of former performers Frank Bristow and Patricia O'Kane and still resides in his hometown with his partner since 1994, Andrew Nicastro.
