[edit] Modern Jewelry Designer
Patricia Tschetter is a fine jeweler known for modernizing ancient and classical techniques from classical Granulation and Reticulation, to Keum-boo. Tschetter alloys her own gold, oxidizes silver, and creates her own electrum. The ornate sensibility of her work resembles Etruscan jewelry and Byzantine art.
After studying with her mentor, renowned jewelry designer Jean Stark, and learning from masters of numerous jewelry techniques including Marilyn Nicholson, Doug Zaruba, Harold O’Connor, Tschetter began embracing challenging old-world techniques. Tschetter’s techniques include Granulation, Reticulation, and Korean Keum-boo.
Patricia Tschetter’s designer collections are available at The Works Gallery on Madison Avenue in Manhattan. Every piece in her designer jewelry collection is hand-made at Tschetter Studio in Dallas, Texas.
