Patricia Wells

Patricia Wells is a chef, culinary teacher, food critic, journalist, and cookbook author who has lived in Provence, France since 1980. She is the restaurant critic for the International Herald Tribune and the author of eight books. Her work Patricia Wells at Home in Provence won the James Beard Award for Best International Cookbook. Wells is also the only American and the only woman to be a restaurant critic for a major French publication, L'Express.
