Patamon is a species of digimon from the Digimon franchise. They are small flying creatures, resembling hamsters, but with bat-like wings for ears. They tend to be childish, curious and slightly spoiled but, very caring in general. In Digimon Adventure, a Patamon is the partner of TK. Voiced by Laura Summer/Miwa Matsumoto (Adventure-Adventure 02) and Bridget Hoffman/Araki Kae (Frontier).

It should also be noted that Patamon (or, more specifically, his digivolutions) have been "killed" and reincarnated as a Digitama in both Digimon Adventure and Digimon Frontier.

Patamon is the playful partner of T.K. and the last of the original seven to Digivolve to Champion. It occurred during the final fight with Devimon when T.K. was in desperate need of help. After neutralizing the other six DigiDestined and their partner Digimon, Devimon advanced on T.K. and Patamon with the initiative to kill them first. Patamon Digivolved to Angemon and, in a suicide move to defeat Devimon, he was donated power by the other Digimon. He defeated Devimon by sacrificing himself, with a few last words to his partner, who was immensely saddened by what he would almost immediately discover to be only a short-lived loss. After defeating the other dark masters everyone was ready for battle exept Mimi and Lilymon who where on there way with there digimon friends. But Piedmon had one last trick up his sleve to turn all the digidestined to keychains. One by one everyone was gone exept T.K.,Kari and Patamon. T.K. was told to keep running and to protect Kari. Piedmon was right behind them so little patamon digivoled to angemon and he was winning on hand to hand combat however the mega digimon was too strong. Piedmon decided to get rid of T.K. and Kari there and then, but when falling T.K. would not give up hope and thus making Angemon digivolve to MagnaAngemon.

In the Third Digimon Movie 'The Golden Digieggs' Angemon warp digivolved to Seraphimon becoming the 3rd digimon to becoming a mega. However, most occurences in that movie are considered non-canon due to there being no origins of Patamon ever reaching the Mega level.

Three years later, when the Digimon Emperor was conquering the Digital World, Patamon was reunited with T.K. but the Emperor's Control Spires made him unable to Digivolve to Angemon when in their presence. However, through the Digi-Egg of Hope, Patamon could Armor Digivolve to Pegasusmon. Davis became very annoyed in one episode when he discovered without the spires Patamon could digivolve into Angemon and Veemon could only armor digivolve, which only served to make him more jealous of the bond he shared with Kari. When BlackWarGreymon went on a rampage, Patamon became a much needed ally when, as Angemon, he and Ankylomon DNA Digivolved to form Shakkoumon. During the events in the 02 CD drama, taking place on Valentine's Day 03, Patamon armored digivolved to Manbomon when TK ended up with Kari's D-Terminal.

Patamon is the playful reincarnation of Seraphimon, raised by Bokomon. Appearing in the 2nd half of the series, Patamon was an important part of the cast due to his ability to sense evil energy from Cherubimon and the Royal Knights.

10 Years Ago as told by SaberLeomon to the Gotsumon that worked for Mercurimon, a Patamon was among the small Digimon caught in the wind vortex when the humans who were deleting Digimon appeared.

Taichi Yagami and Zeromaru encountered a Patamon while on their way to Myotismon's domain and followed them. Unknown to them, that Patamon was really a Bakemon in disguise. Another Patamon worked for Doctor Jijimon in Hospitown while one is seen alerting Lord Holy Angemon about Neo Saiba's invasion.

A Patamon was seen fighting a Salamon at the Battle Stage in the Net Game World. When Piximon, Tsurugi Tatsuno and Agumon came to the Digital World, they first stopped at a village inhabited by Patamon.

Patamon evolves from Tokomon, and can evolve further into Angemon depending on its stats.

Patamon can be found in Gear Savana north of Biyomon's location, defeat him three times in a row to convince him to join the city, he sells more items in the item shop (till you get Biyomon that is)

A Patamon is seen inside the Blue Falcon HQ, joining the Blue Falcons allows you to get Patamon as your starter, Patamon also appears in the wild later on. Patamon can evolve to either Ninjamon, Starmon, Wizardmon or Angemon depending on DP.

Patamon is one of the starter digimon you can get in the game. At level 5 he can evolve to Angemon. To get MagnaAngemon get Patamon to level 20. Serephimon is earned at level 40.
