Pat Sharp

Pat Sharp (born October 25, 1961 in London) is an English radio and television presenter. In Britain he is known mainly for his work on Fun House, a children's television programme from 1989 to 1999 and his radio shows, while in continental Europe he is best remembered as the most famous of Sky Channel's VJs. He is also remembered for having a mullet.
He was a DJ on BBC Radio 1 in 1982 and 1983, and made a few appearances hosting Top of the Pops around this time. In the mid-1980's he also became a DJ for Radio Mercury. For 10 years, starting in 1987, Pat was a DJ on Capital FM in London, and also presented another children's show, What's Up, Doc?. He deputised for David Jensen on the Network Chart Show and appeared as a guest on You Bet!. Once his television days were behind him, he emerged to present the "Time Tunnel" morning show on London's Heart 106.2, which he hosted until August 2004.
Pat has been a presenter on the Century FM group of stations since 2005, and maintains other media interests through his independent production company. Apart from his radio and TV activities, Pat remains a popular figure at universities within the UK, thriving on the nostalgia of those who remember Fun House. Pat is also a popular live DJ and makes regular appearances in Ibiza and Mallorca every summer.
He is also a huge fan of Hartlepool United F.C. and was a special guest at their barbeque.
He was also in a show called Ten Sharp with Edward Adoo, although very little evidence of this can be found. [1]
[edit] Reality television
In 2004, he 'participated' in Channel 4 sports reality show The Games. His somewhat sub-par performance on the Vault (completing only a simple leap-frog) was mocked in the following year's show by Philip "Pip The Hunger" Olivier during the training programs shown on E4.
Further reality TV involvement came on June 3, 2006 when he appeared on ITV1's X-Factor: Battle Of The Stars spin-off show X-Tra Factor: Battle Of The Stars on ITV2. As part of a "Celebs That Didn't Make It" feature, he performed a scripted "audition" interacting with old footage of judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Sharon Osbourne taken from the first X Factor series in 2004. The footage of the judges showed them expressing their disapproval of his song, and despite a second brief performance of the Fun House theme tune, he was subsequently forceably escorted from the audition room by a bouncer.
