Pat Choate

Pat Choate is an economist and was the 1996 Reform Party Vice President candidate, the running-mate of H. Ross Perot. He has a B.A. from University of Texas at Arlington and a Ph.D. from University of Oklahoma, both in Economics. He has taught a course called Advanced Issues Management at George Washington University's Graduate School of Public Management. He is known for his strong stance against free trade agreements. Choate serves on the board of directors of Federation for American Immigration Reform, the largest immigration reduction in the U.S.
He is married to Kay Choate, and has two grown step-sons.
Choate co-hosted the radio talk show "For The People" with Chuck Harder. He hosted a weekly radio show called The Week Ahead from 1994 to 1996 and the Pat Choate Show from 1997 to 2000.
