Pasquerilla West Hall, popularly PW, is one of the 27 Residence Halls on the campus of the University of Notre Dame and one of the 13 female dorms. PW is located directly west of Pasquerilla East Hall and is directly north of Siegfried Hall. PW houses 240 undergraduate students.
[edit] History
Pasquerilla West Hall was built in 1981 as a gift from Frank and Sylvia Pasquerilla to their daughter. It was the first dorm on campus to be built for women. PW's chapel is dedicated to St. Clare of Assisi. PW's signature event of each year is Queen Week, consisting of intra-dorm competitions which culminate in a dance where one of the residents is crowned queen.
[edit] Current Rector
Sr. Susan Bruno, OSF, is a sister of the Congregation of the Third Order of St. Francis of Mary Immaculate, Joliet, Illinois. She has been rector of PW since 1993.
