Originally, the Paschal Lamb refers to Judaism's Korban Pesach, a lamb slaughtered on the 14th of Nisan (the day before the first day of Passover, the 15th of Nisan). The term is sometimes used among Christians as another name for the concept of "Lamb of God", often used as an epithet for Jesus.
